 20mm Lumix Quartzite Bar and Splashback with Back Lighting with Pencil Round Edge

Brief

Client wanted something modern, simple but stunning for when entertaining.

What We Did

After stone selection, we suggested backlighting the bar as well including a backlight shelf for his display bottles. We then designed the area for the cabinetmaker to supply an area behind suitable for LED lighting with a dimmer control. With such a delicate material it was very difficult to maintain the integrity of such large pieces without cracking. Re-inforcing was required to make this all work, but the trick was to do it all without effecting the backlighting.

Result

A stunning result with a look normally only seen in large commercial bars.
